Online Maps and Map-Enabled Web Pages

There are two clear audiences for spatially-aware websites; those who need to use GIS (Geographic Information Science) data, such as geologists, geographers and researchers; and those who wish to place maps on their own commercial or other web sites.

Full GIS Website: The first audience needs a web site intended to display vector data (such as shapefiles) and rasters (such as GeoTIFFs) in a way which is easy to query and perform analysis. MapServer is an ideal solution here. I can help set up systems like this to meet your needs.

Embedded Maps: The second audience includes hobbyists, businesses and individuals who wish to place a map inside of a website. The Google Maps API is an ideal tool here.

Regardless of your web-based mapping needs, chances are there's a tool out there which can help; if not, one can be created. Please contact me for a quote or further information.
